Q: 3.5 — Circumnavigations: No edge, no wall
From Ferdinand Magellan, who completed the first circumnavigation between 1519 and 1522, to today, where aircraft fly daily on journeys around the Earth from west to east or vice versa — no one has reached an edge or a wall.
The distances align perfectly with the sphere model. If the Earth were a disc, southern journeys would take completely different times than what is actually measured. They do not differ.
